krel
Hi I recently built my first home build PC, however I have had constant problems with my PC crashing, freezing ang generally playing up. I was wonderin is there any known issues between my motherboard which is an Asus P5K and my RAM 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 CM2X1024-6400C4 G. As I am unable to install game due to an error (something about corrupt .cab files) could this be due to anything regarding the motherboard and the RAM?? bigbuck08
That RAM should work fine with your motherboard. I believe .cab files are OS files. Either way you can test the RAM with Memtest. Please load BIOS defaults and test each module individually. How To Use Memtest.
