John-
I have been told by ( Mark the returns supervisor) of the retail supplier where I bought my Corsair flash drive Scan International Bolton UK (CMFUSB2.0 -4GB) that they are not guaranteed to work in Linux Ubuntu. And because of this have refused to issue an RMA Is this correct? The reason for asking the question to the retailer is that 1 of the flash drives I have works in Windows XP but will not mount in Linux Ubuntu. Although another identical Corsair flash drive I have does mount with absolutely no problem. This is the output from dmesg http://pastebin.ca/839931
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 31, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 31, 2007 I would try a different version of Linux, and that Flash Drive should work as long as you have the Latest Kernel. If not let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
