charlesjamison
I am having trouble with the AirFlow clips for my Dominator memory. The problem is that one clip appears to have nuts manufactured as part of the clip but the other clip does not have any nuts so I can not attach clip. I assume I got one bad AirFlow clip. I hope I do not need to RMA memory for one bad clip. I hope tech support can help me without pulling memory! Thanks, Charles Jamison

charlesjamison
After several emails and calls which told me I would be contacted in 15 minutes with no return calls, I finally got my answer ----> return the product. There is no way I am going to pull memory out of a PC for a fan clip. Why sell a product if you do not have parts???? :feedback: Please cancel my RMA request (RMA #1043170) if you do not have the parts. :feedback:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 21, 2008 You should not have to send the memory back for a fan replacement. At the very most, they may require you to send the fan assembly back, if spare parts (screws/mounting hardware) are not available individually. charlesjamison
Sound like a lot of run around when paying $600 for memory and a lot of bad support on a part which cost only a dollar or two. I guess it make a lot business sense to make the customer pay for about $20 for shipping and insurance. You need to remember other memory companies exist and are not fair behind. Bussines rule #1 make the customer happy and he/she will return. I will close this thread and not bother this company any more on fan clips.:brick:
