H9o
I recently fried my memory by setting the voltage too high so I bought new memory but I don't want to fry the new memory when I install it. Can I reset the BIOS to its default settings by taking the mobo battery out and then putting it back in?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 28, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 28, 2007 That is one way to do it, you can also reset the CMOS by jumping the CLRTC jumper on the motherboard. Your motherboard manual should have instructions on how to reset the BIOS properly, and where to find the jumper.
