RHW1225
TWINX2048-3200C2PT (2 x 1024) I upgraded from 1G Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2 (2 x 512) which has run fine for two years. I set the BIOS to default (auto). I removed the old/installed the new and my computer POSTed and booted up fine to XP. About three to five minutes later it crashed and wouldn't go through POST again. I replaced the old memory and everything came back to life. I loaded the new memory one stick at a time and ran memtest. The first stick tested fine with no errors. The second stick would not POST. Running both sticks it finally did POST but memtest showed nothing but errors. The timing was 2.5-3-3-8 2T. Changing the timing or bumping the voltage didn't help. One stick took whatever setting I threw at it and the other just played dead. I would really like to get these replaced.
