Alkaios
I've assembled my new pc with an Asus P5K-E mb, E6750 cpu and a kit of TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX G. I tested my ram with GoldMemory 6.92 and i have had error issues at about 68% of normal goldmemory test. I tested it following these hints found here in corsair forum: - disabled legacy USB in bios - manual settings for ram: DRAM Timing Selectable: Manual SDRAM CAS Latency: 4T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 4T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 4T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 12T SDRAM Write Recovery Time: 5 Write to Precharge Delay: 15 (If its Listed) **not listed!** Command Rate: 2T Dram voltage 2.10V I also tried to run memory tests with auto configuration in bios, or with spd values of 5-5-5-18 and dram voltage to auto. Both cases without success and with same disappointing results. Any hints? Thanks
bigbuck08
Could you please try testing the RAM at BIOS defaults with Memtest? http://www.memtest.org
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2007 Also if Command Rate or CPC is listed set it to 2t and if TRC is listed set it to 24 and test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and you may need to disable Legacy USB Support on almost any ASUS MB when running any memory test.
