Fridman
I have Toshiba Satellite A200-1N2 with 1gb of RAM(512 *2). I have bought two VS1GSD667D2 modules(1 gb each) and replased the old ones with them. Laptop still says that I have only 1GB of Ram, where is the problem? I have tested the modules separately, they both work(vista showing 512 each time). Thanks for your help Evgeny.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2007 If each module only registers as 512MB by itself, you may want to double check with Toshiba if you have the latest Bios. Are you getting the 512MB reading from Windows or Bios?
Fridman
From bios and Vista the both show 1024 mgb. I've cheked with Toshiba, I have the latest bios. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 28, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 28, 2007 I woudl suspect that the modules may have been just programed incorrectly or labled incorrectly at our end if the lale on the modules say they are 1.0 Gig modules. And as long as the part number is VS1GSDS667D2 please contact our customer service and we will be happy to replace them. 888-222-4346 Ext "0" or please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
