nonecktech
Greetings, I have seen numerous postings regarding ddr800 memory and dp35dp mb's. Although I have built two systems in the past, I am still a neophyte so some of the discussion is over my head. Bottom line... I have a dp35dp mb that I am building out. I also acquired (from a retailer going out of business) four cm2x1024 sticks without reading the fine print regarding voltage (1.9V). Will this memory work on an Intel dp35dp mb or am I out of luck? bigbuck08
The RAM should work fine with your motherboard, but you will probably have to drop the speed down to DDR667 when using all four modules.
nonecktech
Thanks! What is the technical reason for dropping the speed to 667?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2007 There is more loading on the system as you add more memory and some MB's may need to slow the memory down to remain stable, when its fully loaded.
