roncar1
My question is this: I have 2 sticks of vs1gigb400c3/eu running in dual channel. I bought 2 more sticks of vs512mb400. I am running a asus a8n5x motherboard, in the user guide it says not to mismatch latency. These are installed and seem to be doing fine. I ran cpuz and i have 3 gigs showing. Will i have any problems running C3 and C2.5 togeather? Thanks in advance Ronnie
bigbuck08
Most of the time they wont even boot. You are lucky that they worked. In the future there may be problems however.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 25, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 25, 2007 I would suggest setting then manually at Cas 2.5-3-3-7 at DDR333 with the memory Voltage set to 2.7 Volts.
roncar1
Thanks, i checked my timings in CPUZ and they are 2.5-3-3-7-10. The Voltage is 2.5 and command rate of 10. the dram idle timer is 16. So would you up the volts from the 2.5 auto setting to 2.7? will there be any complications in future as mem test was fine? Thanks in advance Ronnie
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 25, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 25, 2007 Command Rate should be 2t and yes I would set the memory Voltage to 2.7 Volts minimum.
