59Deluxe
Hello My computer has been having some problems for a while now, games wouldn't install correctly, crashes, etc... And I finally got the idea to run memtest86 on it. Low and behold there were many many errors. I pulled one stick and ran memtest again and there were no errors; furthermore, the games that wouldn't install correctly worked on the one stick. I have checked each of them separately and one has errors, while I believe the other is fine. My RAM is CMX1024-3200C2PT. Do I need a receipt from newegg? Also, it is to my understanding that matching RAM is somewhat important (?) so should I send both sticks in? If I should send both sticks in, do I mark it as 1 part or 2? Thanks, 59Deluxe
bigbuck08
If you just want a replacement set then no, you wouldnt need a receipt. I didnt atleast. Also, yes you should sent in both modules to ensure you get a matched set in return.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2007 If you ordered them as Twinx2048-3200C2PT then that would be what you request and send in 2 modules.
