Hey, I've had troubles to high heaven trying to get 2 sticks of 1gb transcend memory working in my GA-K8VT800M (via) board. I've read that there's an inherent problem with twin 1GB sticks of DDR400. http://www20.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20040112/index.html I've now got my eye on the Corsair TWINX2048RE-200... but I don't want to pull the trigger again and get screwed if there's some compatability problems... can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Well since the memory controller is in the CPU with AMD64 it's a lot harder for the MB maker to affect it with their bios. But with this MB I would suggest that you use an approved module from the MB maker. Or one they suggest with this MB!
