clvillers1
Computer randomly restarts a lot and a few times restarted before even booting windows. All the symptoms and diagnostics point to a bad stick of memory. I know the memory is compatible cause I been using this memory in my machine for over 2 years without any problems till recently. And I have more than one computer built with these motherboards and memory and the others work wonderfully. Motherboard NF7S2 AMD Athlon XP 2400 CMX512-3200C2PT XMS3200 512 400MHZ CL2 TWINX Both sticks can be rmaed it isn't a problem for me to do that. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard and then load optimized defaults and set the Memory Voltage to 2.75 volts and then set the timings to 2-3-3-6 (CAS-tRCD-tRP-tRAS) and then test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! Please allow memtest to run 2-3 passes on each module. If you still get errors, we will be happy to replace them! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. If one module is failing then lets get the set replaced, then please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
