wizofid
I have a EVGA nForce 680i SLI Socket 775 A1 Motherboard. This is what I paid for and had shipped to me: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=C13-8022 which is Twin2X2048-6400C4D and that is on the compatibility list. What was actually shipped to me was the following (writing down all the numbers on the stick): corsair CM2X1024-6400CAD XMS2-6400 XMS6404V1.2 This memory is not listed as compatible on the EVGA site, nor does it show up in the memory configurator here. I run the matched pair at 4-4-4-12 2.1v and about 6 weeks ago one of them burned out. I came here and was assigned case #268845 and an RMA. Now the other stick as burned out and while I am sure I can RMA it I am very concerned that this memory is not compatible with the board. Thanks in advance. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2007 I would suggest we replace them as a set and if it happens again I would get the MB replaced. But these modules are indeed listed for that MB on our configurator.
