BigDoggit
I have a 1GB Flash Voyager pen drive that recently - and spontaneously - did not read. I was able to reinstall the utility on a computer and get the information off, however, I tried to access it again the next day, and again, it kept saying it wasn't formatted. For a while the blue was stuck on, and I had to shut the computer down to feel like I could safely remove it. I feel this to be a warranty issue as the product is 3 to 4 years old, I would have to consult my spreadsheet to tell me when I purchased it or dig the receipt out. What is the protocol to take care of this situation?

cracker
I too have just started recently getting this problem on my 2G Corsair Flash drive. I've gotten the same "Drive is not formatted" when I try to access it. I've tried uninstalling the driver with no luck, and when I reconnect, it installs a driver for a "Prolific" USB device. cracker
Thanks Ram Guy. It's intermittent, I thought it was working...transferred a file to it, moved to another PC and experienced the same problem. I'll RMA it.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 2, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 2, 2008 OK NP, and if that happens with the new drive I would look for some other cause, maybe use a USB Hub that is externally powered to test with.
