Hey guys I'm new here and have recently run into problems with some new ram. i currently have 2X1gb of TWIN2X2048-5400C4 @ 667mhz ram and purchased some new 2x1gb TWIN2X2048-6400 @ 800mhz. I'm trying to run all 4 sticks on my setup but the performance is slower than with just 2 sticks of 5400 ram 667mhz. i sometimes get a BSOD at startup but my overall performance is horrible help would much be appreciated thanx. i am running vista 64bit ultimate my specs are as follows:

intel c2d e6600 (2.4 stock)

asus p5n32-e-sli-premium

2X1gb of TWIN2X2048-5400C4 @ 667mhz

320gb hdd SATAII 7200 rpm

xfx 8800 gtx (stock)

antec trio 650 watt psu

Vista Ultimate 64 bit

I would try and set the timings to Cas 4-4-4-12 at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts and set the NB/MCH Voltage to +.05 Volts and if you are using Windows Vista You'll need to install MS patch 929777 from Microsoft for more than 3 GIG in Win Vista. you can search for it at http://www.microsoft.com. But whatch for the correct patch for the specific version of Vista.
