pilonull
Honestly, I'm very sick of dealing your customer support team. I RMA'd my original 8gb flashvoyager on NOVEMBER 19TH (Linkage here: http://www.asktheramguy.com/v3/showthread.php?t=64455) !!!!! I JUST GOT IT BACK TODAY (12/17!!!!). I plugged it into my computer, and lo-and-behold, it doesn't work. it does not respond to ANYTHING. I tried it in 4 other computers. I have verified that all these usb ports work, and tried different usb sticks as well. What the hell is wrong with you guys? I was satisfied with your products in the past, but your flash memory SUCKS. Your customer support SUCKS. Come on guys, get your act together, I am not a happy customer at all, and this is just disgraceful to a company name that I previously thought was one of the best. Not anymore, however, thanks to my *recent* experiences with this company. I'm sorry if this message doesn't seem very *mature* or *nice* but you have no idea how infuriated I am right now, this is just plain ridiculous. I am sick of being nice about this matter, when I have gotten no satisfying results so far. I am interested in the outcome of this problem I am having right now. Thanks for your time! -alex

pilonull
Great! Thanks a lot guys, I just got my drive back today, the write speed is at around 22, with the read speed being around 25... The read speed is not as good before, but I believe that the 22/25 write/read is a good balance, and honestly, I don't exactly feel like going through yet ANOTHER RMA. But thanks for all your help, although it took a while to get it resolved, I am satisfied with the results. Thanks again, -alex
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2007 The 8 Gig non GT version Flash Voyager will average 3.3Mbs Write and 9.1MBs Read, so it sounds like your drive is performing above spec.
