mhdrix
I'm new to this forum, so hello everybody :D: Recently I mantled a new PC system together, but after powering it up it keeps crashing. I have used the new performance tool in Windows Vista (32 bit) to analyze for HW failure and it tells me that I have problems with my memory and that I need to contact my computer manufacture :sigh!: I ran the performance test with each 2 x 1 GB DDR2 Twin2X set modules to find the wrong parts. One set have now been replaced by the store and I was looking so much forward to install the new once and to get a stable system. But it doesn't seem to be so. Now I have 4 x 1 GB Twin2X installed and the vista memory test tool tels me that there is a HW problem with the memory... Any suggestions of what is going on here ??? (system spec: Asus P5E mainboard, Intel E6750 2.66 GHz cpu, 4 x 1 GB DDR2-800 Twin2X, Asus N8600GTS Graphics, 2 x Samsung 500 GB HD, Vista home premium 32-bit (I know it only supports 3.25 GB ram))
Yellowbeard
Can you give me all of the information from the stickers on all 4 modules. Also, when running 4 modules, you may need to increase the voltage to the north bridge (aka memory controller) due to the load of 4 modules.
