Rennan
Hello. Please i hope that you can help me... I recently bought a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Mainboard and a TWINX2048-6400 G Kit Memory. When i try to install WinXP, the system freeze. I use just one stick and install XP normally. Later i put the other stick with windows installed and the BSOD appears, i switched the sticks and i get still the same problem. Also i configure the BIOS has you explain: 5-5-5-12 2T and a voltage 1.9 v and 2.1 and have identical problem. Actually i work with just one single stick and no problems for a week and more. I send the stick that not work to the supplier and they reject the warranty They say that the memory works ok. Are this memorys compatible with my mainboard? Plase can you send me the correct especifications for this mainboard. PD: Sorry for my bad english. :(
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 10, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS and load setup defaults then set the Dim Voltage to 2.0 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
