crazybus
I just picked up a 2GB Flash Voyager. The first time I plugged it in NOD32 popped up with a virus warning. Looks like the drive came with the Win32/PSW .AGent.NDP password stealing trojan. The drive itself contained two hidden files, ntdelect.com and autorun.inf to automatically load the trojan when the drive is plugged in. So look out.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 5, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 5, 2007 Can you tell me the model of the drive and the lot code on the end of the USB Connector? Should be a 6 or 7 digit number.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 5, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 5, 2007 Did you get that replaced or just clean the Virus? Also this drive was made in December of 2006 so did you just get it and from who did you purchase it? And was it in a sealed package or was it open? crazybus
I still have the drive. I just ordered it new on Nov 22 from NCIX.com. It came in a sealed plastic clamshell package that did not appear to have been tampered with. I posted on the NCIX.com product page and it seems at least one other person received one with a virus on it as well.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 5, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 5, 2007 We are looking into this but if you have cleaned the Virus there is no need to do anything. Just use it normally. Also what Anti Virus Application were you using?
crazybus
Yeah I've formatted the drive so it's ok now. I was using NOD32 although Mcafee reported the virus as well.
