ALEX_I_R Posted December 3, 2007 Share Posted December 3, 2007 HI I recenlty purchased this memory CorsairTWINX Twin2X2048-5400C4 and I tried to used with my motherboard 775Dual-880 Pro but at the beggining before to install Windows xp professional the system doesnt load windows properly,so I nstalled the os with a ddr3200 memory after the complete installation of windows I changed to the original memory of ddr2 and load windows but when I used any aplication like internet explorer or whatever the system crash and the computer reboot again and again whenever time that i used windows, i tried to check with a memory test with linux os ubuntu but the results were the same, i tested and checked my ddr2 ram with ubuntus and i get all bad sectors on the 2 ram memorys I wanna know if that memory CorsairTWINX Twin2X2048-5400C4 is compatible with the 775 Dual-880 Pro mother board or maybe the memory is damaged and I need to change the memory for another Ill waiting for your answer thank you thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 4, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 4, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS and then load setup defaults and then set the memory Voltage to 1.9 Volts ( High with this MB) and then test the memory with http://www.memtest.org and if you get errors please test them one at a time.
