Hi There !

 

Anybody could tell me what are the recommended memory settings for my system ? I´m having memory errors in memtest (USB legacy disabled in BIOS during the tests)...

 

I have last bios version (1601) installed.

First I tried load default settings in bios (only disabling USB legacy). I got errors.

 

Then, I tried (that´s what I´m running right now - still get erros but only in memtest tests #4 and #5 (memtest version 1.70):

CPU FREQUENCY: 266

DRAM FREQUENCY: 800Mhz

Memory Voltage: 2.2V

DRAM CAS LATENCY: 5

DRAM RAS TO CAS DELAY: 5

DRAM RAS PRECHARGE: 5

DRAM RAS ACTIVATE TO PRECHARGE DELAY: 15

DRAM WRITE RECOVERY TIME: 5

DRAM TRFC: 42 DRAM CLOCKS

DRAM TRRD: 10

RANK WRITE TO READ DELAY: 10

READ TO PRECHARGE DELAY: 10

WRITE TO PRECHARGE DELAY: 10

 

What I also tried:

DRAM FREQUENCY: 1067Mhz - same errors;

WRITE TO PRECHARGE DELAY: 15 - same here;

 

Any suggestions ?

Set the write to Precharge delay to 15 and the memory frequency at DDR800 and then test with http://www.memtest.org and make sure Disable legacy USB when running any memory test with ASUS MB's.

First at all, thank you for your promptly answer :)

 

But, as I said in the post, I already tried that (DRAM FREQUENCY 800Mhz and WRITE TO PRECHARGE DELAY: 15). In fact, I tried right now this exactly configuration and had same errors in memtest (test #4).
