dandapice
RamGuy, I've got an eVGA 680i MB and am getting an E6850 cpu and 4GB of ram (Vista Ultimate 64) . Seeing as the cpu's 1333Mhz fsb, what ram should I get?
td3
not Ramguy, but I would recommend using 2 x 2 GB. I have seen many issues with trying to run over 800 on ram populating all 4 slots on 680i. If you are shooting for 1333, using 2 DIMMs is going to be how to get there, IMO. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 21, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 21, 2007 If you want 4 Gig of memory I would suggest Twin2x4094-6400C5DHX, as I believe the EVGA is now saying not run over 2.1 Volts on their MB.
