DerekT
Your board will not accept the four sticks to run as fast as two sticks. You need to insert two sticks and enter the BIOS. Set the DRAM to 533Mhz and shut the system down. Insert the second set of sticks. Restart. Results?
silver5660
I try to change the memory config in the bios, but still cannt boot. I change to 266Mhz, also cannot boot, any other suggestions?
DerekT
Your board may not wish to run with 8GB. Download memtest from http://www.memtest.org and extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk. Install two sticks in Dimm Slots 1 & 3 and boot to the optical drive with the memtest disk and allow for two full passes. Remove the first two sticks and insert the second two sticks. Repeat the memtest with the other two sticks. Results?

I was asking you to set to two sticks to 667Mhz and stock cpu and then test with memtest. Remove the two sticks and test with the next two sticks. I would think that you will find that the DRAM is fine. Yes, I believe that your board is holding you back. Not the chipset but the Intel motherboard. They are notoriously finicky with DRAM and you have the proper DRAM for that board. I stay away from Intel motherboards personally.
