Yuritau
I'm building a new rig for myself, and I've already picked up my asus m2n-e, and a AMD athlon 64 X2 5000+ black edition to put in it. Now I'm looking at memory, and found a great deal on Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-5400C4 2x1GB. My question, after seeing a whole lot of posts about that ram with M2N-E's, is will I run into any problems plugging 4gb (2 kits) of that memory into my M2N-E? DerekT
The M2N-E is very touchy about ram. The motherboard only allows for a Vdimm (DRAM Voltage) of 1.95v. If the memory requires more to be stable, it can't be used in this board and many boards will require more voltage for stability. I would suggest Value Select with this type of MB for best compatibility. You will circumvent any possible Vdimm issues that way.
