paytonc
Back in 2006 I purchased some of your TWINX1024-3200C2PRO Ram which is the two 512mb sticks. I have been using them in my computer since then, but I have always had problems with my computer randomly crashing, At first I thought it was just drivers and Windows having compatibility problems. Also around this same time, one of my friends made a computer with everything the same, even the ram. His computer has been going fine since it has been made (back in 2006). So I switched his 2 sticks of ram, and mine to see what would happen, and sure enough my friends computer started getting the same random blue screen I have been getting. the error message on the blue screen is 0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT I need to know if this problem is fixable, or does it require an RMA Specs are: MB: ASUS A8N-SLI Premium ed. CPU: AMD 3800X2 Thanks payton

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 19, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 19, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest Bios version and then load setup/optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/'s one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
paytonc
we have already memory tested the RAM overnight. the Memtest came up with several errors. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 19, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 19, 2007 I would recommend testing them one at a time. If both modules give you errors when tested individually, there may be some other problem. If you would like to have the memory replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
