FC3S
I have an Asus A8N32-SLI motherboard with an AMD FX-55. I bought the ram and board from Fry's Electronics over a year ago and the FX-55 from Newegg. It's been fine until last Monday when I couldn't get into Windows and it would just reboot and cycle all over. Memtest shows 1 stick is bad with errors nonstop from 1-100% and the other would pass all night. I was about to request an RMA but when it asked for the serial I noticed that the sticks did not have matching serial and lot #s. There was no "returned" sticker on the package when I bought it from Fry's so I thought I was getting brand new ram. Will I still be able to RMA the bad stick? If not, is there any way I can pay to have it fixed? I bought the set because it matched the board and I would like to be able to stick with it until DDR3. :(:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 16, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 16, 2007 These modules are no longer available I would suggest getting them both replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
