Comedian817
Ok, so i have read a few other threads with people with my board and timings, but I wanted to make sure of the specific timing setting for my config. (other people had 2 gigs I have 4 gigs.) Right now everything in the bios is set to the defaults. Memory Clock Index: 333Mhz Cas latency (Tcl): 3 Min Ras Active Time (Tras): 7T Ras to Cas Delay (Trcd): 3T Row Precharge Time (Trp): 3T Row Cycle Time (Trc): 10T Row Refresh Cycle Time (Trfc): 11T Read-to-write time (Trwt): 4T 1T/2T Memory Timing: 2T S/W Dram over 4g remap: Enabled H/W Dram Over 4g remap: Enabled
DerekT
To be certain, you are running with 2 X 2048? If so, then since you are running with 2 Banks, I would set the DRAM voltage to 2.75v. Then I would set the timings to 2.5-3-3-7 and test with Memtest. If Memtest passes, the i would set the Command Rate from 2T to 1T and retest with Memtest. Comedian817
No its actually running with 4x 1024 sticks. Sorry they came in packages as 2048 and were listed as that on the memory. All four slots are used. So what is the best configuration?

Did you have someone set that up for you? I ask this because it is exactly the settings I would give for 4 X 1024 and that system.
Comedian817
no... its just set up that way, i built the system myself and i think thats default.
DerekT
Well, you should be fine with those settings. To test: Download memtest from http://www.memtest.org and extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk. Boot to the optical drive with the memtest disk and allow for two full passes. Results?
