rfvasquez
Are you stuck on going with AMD? Absolutely - best bang for your buck - never had a problem with them- been building systems for years, and I've been using AMD's for the past 8 years. Why would I want to leave money on the table by purchasing an Intel? Or perhaps you were speaking of Cyrix? If you can show me an Intel Processor that meets or exceeds the AMD 5200+ at $120 or a 6000+ at $160, then I am all ears. I am open to anything, but everything you read sums up that Intel is a bit TOO proud of their chips when they come to pricing them. I only buy AMD because of value - I am in no way an Intel Hater - I have an Intel-powered laptop that works fine.
