Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 8, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 8, 2007 What is the capacity of this drive? EZ Recovery is not compatible with newer drives and drives larger than 2GB. If you believe the drive is defective we will gladly replace it. Bersik
hi, problem is with 1GB module. i have 512MB module too, but there isn't problem. By the way, how it is with drivers in vista os ? sometimes os don't assign letter or system ask me : want you format drive ? when i plug it many times.. it works fine
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 12, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 12, 2007 EZ-Recover software will not run officially in Vista. And as we stated if its a newer drive like with in the last 6 months it may not work with that drive. I would try the suspect drive in another system and see if it is detected and will format from DOS. If it's still not working then let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
Bersik
hello, if i remember i have the same problem with writing to flash at my second computer, but it's hard to try it at some other computers because sometimes there isn't problem and if i have to use flash memory, it doesn't work i know that ez recovery is doesn't supported by windows vista, but there is a problem that to flash memory is sometimes assigned letter and sometimes is not i am going to try flash in these days and find out if it is a flash hardware problem. thank you for help
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 13, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 13, 2007 If the system is not assigning a drive letter but its listed in Device manager with no errors, that would suggest that maybe there is some other device try to use the same drive letter and I would try and change it. This happens to both of my own flash disks as well. I have two non corsair flash drives adn at times I am asked if I want to format. I say no and double click on the drive and can access the files. This is a Windows bug, one of many and is on both XP and VISTA.
