fulber
I have a P5N32-E SLI Motherboard and Dominator twin2x2048-8500c5d and the fastest stable speed i can get is 934Mhz. Do you know the correct BIOS settings for this combo to get a stable 1066Mhz? I have tried SLI ready memory at 0%OC set memory voltage for 2.2V and set memory to 5-5-5-15 2T. And disabled Legacy USB. And even tried bumping NB voltage to 1.5V. But can only get it stable at 934Mhz. testing with memtest86. Anything over 934Mhz gives many errors. Thanks for the help RamGuy! PS. My other components are intel qx6850 processor, dual EVGA 8800GTX and Audigy 2 Pro Sound card. Also Bios for mother board is latest one.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 8, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 8, 2007 Are you running the CPU and memory Linked or Unlinked? Also, there is a second voltage you have tweak in some cases. It is the FSB Tracking (or Termination) voltage. Try 1.4v there.
bigbuck08
Set your memory voltage to 2.1V.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 9, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 9, 2007 Test the modules one at a time, if they both fail at less than 1066MHz when tested individually then there is something else holding you back. If one of them hits 1066MHz, and the other one stops at 934Mhz then we need to get them both replaced.
fulber
Well I just tested both seprately and they both passed at 1066mhz. now im really confused. Heh!
fulber
I had an idea and switched memory from A1/B1to A2/B2 memory slots. Is now 40% thru memtest and no errors at 1066mhz. Does that make any sense?
