Nimmo
How can you reset the padlock to accept a new combination? The orginal code was not entered correctly. There is no data on the drive, but I can't use it because I locked it and I don't know the code. I feel smart.
Wired
You can only do that if you know the combination...
Nimmo
I know how to change the combination with the known password, but I don't know the password. There has to be some way to set the drive back to the default/factory settings. I know I am not the only user to have had this problem. Are you saying that I should throw away a new drive simply because the password was incorrectly set.
Wired
There's ways, but unless you want to void the warranty and risk breaking it, I wouldn't try them. Just RMA it :)
