Having some problems with my memory. Have 2 sets of the Dominator Twin2X2048-8500C5D in my system for a total of 4gb of memory . I have started to get crashes with my computer and blue screens that said memory management. I did a fresh install of the operating system and that did not help . I ran memtest and get many errors with each tests . I pulled out all the stick and tested them one by one and pound only one of the sticks to always give me errors. The rest of the sticks pass fine . Im running a evga 680iSLI A-1 mother board . I had the memory at stock settings and at 2.2v.Please let me know what i need to do so i can RMA this memory . My other concern is that iv i send in the 2 sticks my other 2 sticks my be a different version than what i get back . Right now i have all version 1.2 memory . Also the last time i rma memory there was confusion on the rma page because i had the Twinx model which consisted of 2 modules but i remember on the rma page they wanted you to list each module i think . Also if you want me to rma both sets of ram i really dont want to make my computer useless so if at all possible i could do one set at a timeSo please let me know what you recommend me doing . Thanks for your time and help!!

Let's get them or it replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or “Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it, please note that you are posting from the forum!

It would be best to get all the modules replaced so that you can have a matched set, however you may contact our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0", (510) 657-8747 or email rmaservice@corsairmemory.com for possible shipping options to better accommodate your RMA.

Hi . I received my RMA memory and installed it and i now have no errors like i was having before . I do notice a different problem now. In my bios i cannot select SLI Ready Memory. It says its not detected. This is with all of my memory installed . If i only install one matched set , does not matter which set , i can then select SLI Ready Memory. But with all 4gb of memory installed it says not detected . I believe it may be because there are now 2 different versions of memory and i asked about this before when rmaing the memory . I have one set of version 1.2 and one set that is now version 1.3 that i received from the rma . Please let me know now what i should do . Thanks

SLI-Ready may not be detected with 4 modules in your system, and using the SLI-Ready feature would not be recommended unless you have purchased a QUAD2X set of the 8500C5D. Here are the manual settings for using 4 8500 modules in your system:

FIRST THING CLEAR CMOS!!

Load Setup/Optimized Defaults

Memory Voltage: 2.2v

SLI Ready: Disabled

FSB Memory Clock Mode: Unlinked

MEM DDR MHZ: 1066MHZ

TCL: 5

TRCD: 5

TRP: 5

TRAS: 15

Command Per Clock: 2T

TRC: 28
