Hoakas
Checked with Corsair Memory Configurator...it says Corsair Dominator Series TWIN2X2048-8500C5D can run on the Abit KN9 SLI. Will I have to do any special configuration in the bios or something for this ram to work correctly? Any insight would be great.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 6, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 6, 2007 The memory will boot at JEDEC spec default settings of 5,5,5,18 and at the stock 1.8v. You will need to change the voltage and timings manually in the bios.
Hoakas
Thank RAM GUY -- I changed my order to Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB Kit DDR2-800 XMS2-6400 Xtreme Performance Memory. For $72.50 minus $30 mail in rebate I couldn't pass it up for the cost difference.

DerekT
At this point in time, I would look towards the 8800GT 512. It is a brand new refresh of the 8800 series and is seriously fast for the money. It's an amazing graphics card and for resolutions at 1600 X 1200 or lower, it is almost as fast as my 8800GTX. It will make that fine monitor of yours look great and game at the highest eye candy. :) Other than that, you have a good pick of a system
