Ap0kalyps3
I've decided to upgrade my brothers video card from a 9600 pro to a ATI X1950 Pro AGP, for a bit faster gaming. When I bought it, I obviously needed a new PSU and was told about the HX520W from the retailer and was assured that it would fit the 20 pin MB my brother is currently using, the Asus A7N8x Deluxe Rev2.0 (socket 939 i believe). My problem: I can't get it to boot up I see the green motherboard light but thats all, I connected everything, its plugged into a working wall socket, the motherboard has been tested and tested to be working, and the 20pin connector is firmly in place with the extra 4 detached. I tried to boot it up with no dvdrom, hd, peripherals and nothing works but the green motherboard light. I even popped out the battery in hopes that would solve/reset something :p I noticed while comparing the 2 20pin connectors that the corsair HX520W is missing the white wire on the first row, 3 pins in, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Anyways, my brother is anxiously awaiting his new graphics card to game it up, and if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Wired
Supports the latest ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 standards and is backwards compatible with ATX12V 2.01 systems. Is your board ATX 2.01 compatible?
Ap0kalyps3
The tech guy at the retailer I went to said it would fit into this board no problem, as well as most of the later model socket 939 boards, where would I find that info? Its been years since the manual was tossed, and I can't find any specs that contain that info for this MB. Asus A7N8X Deluxe Rev 2.
