bill_killroy
Hi, I've been trying to install the corsair tools on Vista (Hum, copying the files) Every times I lanche it, it tells me that the required sources files cannot be loaded and stopped. A corsair Data directory is created too in the main directory but doesn't contain anything. Any Ideas ? Regards Bill killroy
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2007 Sorry missed your post and split it off on its own so we can see it. Do you have Administrator rights on this system and have all of the updates installed?
bill_killroy
Hi, I' have administrator rights, and i've disable Control user to prevent software installation. It does the same thing when using XP. Did i miss a microsoft package that will allow me to run this software. I've done a regmon and filemon, and i did'nt get any error on accessing a specific file. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2007 I have not seen that error before and if it does the same with XP it might be some other problem, can you try and down load it again to another directory? bill_killroy
Hello, I've done the test another time. I get the same message on vista with or without compatibility options. The first time, the application is lanched, it creates a directory named Corsair Data I've tried to run it on a winxp without any application and i get the same error.
