podvarak
Hi guys, I`m using HX620W right now with my old 8800GTS and I`m expecting two new 8800gt`s to arrive soon. Should HX620W be enough for me or should I buy some other psu with more power? (QX6700 is running at 3.4GHz and I read somewhere on the inet that it`s using about 200W at that speed) Cheers! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 31, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 31, 2007 No we have tested our HX620W with two 8800GTX cards in SLI mode so it will not be a problem.
podvarak
Thanks for reply but I`m still a little worried because my cpu is the biggest watt-eater in the market today :) ... I will leave everything on default clocks and see how it will perform.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2007 Judging by the system specs you have listed in your profile, you should be fine.
