Try these specific settings for your motherboard. This will give you a 2.5Ghz CPU with a 1:1 Ratio with the DRAM running at DDR500Mhz. That will be faster than 2.65Ghz (CPU) at 400Mhz (DRAM).

  1. Download memtest from http://www.memtest.org and extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an optical disk.

  2. Download prime95 from http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Prime95-Download-76537.html Extract to a folder on your system.

MB Intelligent Tweaker (MIT)

HT Frequency : 4 / 800

K8 CPU Clock Ratio : Set to 250

DDR Clock/Timing Ratio : Set to 500

CPU Spread Spectrum : Disabled

PCI-e Clock : 100Mhz

Robust Graphics Booster : Auto

CPU Voltage Control : 1.4

Chipset core PCI-E Voltage : Normal

HT-Link voltage Control : Normal

DDR voltage control : +0.1V

Top Performance : Disable (once you have a stable tested system, you can Enable this and retest for stability)

Insert the Memtest optical disk and boot to the optical drive. Allow for two full passes. If memtest passes, enter windows and run Prime95 for ~8 hours to test for full system stability. You can use the system (internet, music) but not any intensive things like gaming, video etc. If it passes then you are stable and overclocked.
