rrguima
Hello, I have just purchased the HX620 and the CM 690 case from Cooler master. I was wondering whether I should should install the PSU upside down or not. Since the case will be suspended and on a hard surface, I'm leaning towards normal installation with the fan sucking the air from the bottom vent (yes there holes in the bottom and and the case rubber feet raise it up about an inch). http://www.hardwarezone.com/img/data/articles/2007/2336/Empty.jpg here's a better pic: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CoolerMaster/RC_690/images/backbottom.jpg So, do you guys think this case should provide enough ventilation if PSU is not mounted upside down? thanks
rrguima
Never mind, manual recommends the fan to face the bottom vent (if CPU has a single fan). thanks anyway.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 29, 2007 You should be fine installing it with the fan facing down, this will give you a little bit more slack to run the fixed cables as well!
