Problems with RMA Replacements.

I have a problem.

 

It started a while back when one of my matched pair started playing up. Anyway I got my RMA and an email saying

 

RMA number: 1029281 Corsair Product: CMX1024-3200C2PT Quantity Returned: 2

 

I was over the moon My PC does not like only 1GB.

 

I received Corsair Product: CMX1024-3200PT Quantity Returned: 2

 

The CL on this memory is CL3 and one strip is ver1.2 and the second is ver5.1 They are also visually diffrent memory.

 

I checked and all my emails were C2PT. Now I spent extra money to get my CL to 2 and without the C2PT my Matched 1GB will not run at CL2.

 

I have sent 3 mails and had no response.

 

The Warranty states equivelent or better and I get worst and lose out as my other memory is reduced in quality.

Even though I was promised the proper replacement I have received no confirmation or contact from your RMA department. I woulod like an email acknowledging that they have sent out inferior parts which is not in line with your warranty promise.

I called and spoke to them on one of the numbers that you gave me. I spoke to a man who apologised and said that he would sort it all out and send me a set of TWINX-2048-C2PT and he said it was an accident that the others were sent out. I said that I would send the others back on receipt of the matched pair.

 

Everytime I ring the US it costs me around $8 I have already made two calls and just want to know that this is being dealt with.

I have received a matched pair of cmx 1024-3200C2PT. I am very happy and not concerned now about the lack of contact.

 

Thank you for bearing with me and can you let me know the returns details and I will mail the others back.
