stevenren
I purchased an HX 520 a while back (Rev. B2W, no idea if this is a new revision?). I had been using it with an Asus a8n-deluxe without any problem. However, this doesn't seem to be working with Abit boards. I used to have an An8-32x-SLI. The PSU would power up for 1-2 seconds. The lights would flash, fan spins, stop, and restart, and this cycle repeats. I RMA'd the abit board, the problem persisted, but then I just ignored the problem. Recently, I purchased a Core 2 system wtih an Abit IP35 Mobo and the same problem came back. This seems to be too much of a coincidence and did a search on google and the Abit IP35 + HX520W combination seems to be working for a good number of people. Is this a known problem with this PSU/Revision? Would I need an RMA or would I need to look elsewhere for a PSU? update: Did a quick search on the forum. sounds like this http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?p=5253010
