eusthebest
hello guys, I have a P5N32-SLI Premium MB and CORSAIR XMS2 2GB 6400c4 memory and my CPU is an Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 Conroe, the issue I am having with them is that it seems the MB is recognizing one stick as a 5400c4pro instead of a 6400c4, when I got the memory it came packaged in one box (both sticks) so I know, well at least that’s what I paid for, that I got a pair of CORSAIR XMS2 6400c4. The system works fine, it boots and is stable, the memory is running at 667, so I think it is because the MB thinks that one stick runs at that speed. How can I fix this so I can get the memory to run at 800 MHz? Please keep in mind I’m somewhat new to this and thanks in advance to all of you that reply. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 24, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 24, 2007 If they are a Twin2x set then that would be what you submit the request for and yes get both modules replaced.
