Are CMX512-3200PT and CMX512-3200C2 compatible?

I recently requested a stick of RAM from a mate of mine who runs a comp store interstate. I requested another stick of CMX512-3200PT to take my system to a gig. But mistakenly he sent me CMX512-3200C2. Now when its installed it shows up fine in BIOS and windows works well generally and I have the bios settings at 3-3-3-8, the default for my original stick. BUT I have been experiancing problems in the form of games quitting unexpectedly with errors that babble some mumbo jumbo about being unable to read the memory. Is this a problem with the compatability between the two sticks? Is the RAM faulty? Or is something else at fault. Thanks.

I would really suggest that you match the modules when running them together. You might be able to set the timings to Cass 3-3-3-8 manually and have no problems, but the modules will have slightly different properties and may not run properly in this environment.
