rabbilbt
I just plugged in my voyager flash memory drive. Windows xp is looking for a driver. Can I download a driver from somewhere so the voyager works?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 23, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 23, 2007 The Driver is included in the O.S. and you should not need any driver. If you are getting that message I would suggest you try and reinstall the USB Mass storage drivers
rabbilbt
I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm not sure how to reinstall the USB mass storage device drivers. I have a dell with an oem xp os. Any help in doing this is deeply appreciated.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 24, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 24, 2007 Make sure there are no other USB devices connected and then go to Device manager and remove everything listed under USB Devices and then restart the system and then try to add insert the Flash drive again. But two things to note. 1. When you remove the devices do from the last to the first. 2. When you connect the drive use the ports on the back not on the front, we have seen the front ports cannot provide enough voltage that are on the front of most Del cases.
