hazatone Posted October 21, 2007 Share Posted October 21, 2007 hey i have exactly the same problem ... i have an ASUS A8V-Deluxe Motherboard and running 4x512MB Twinx 3200C2 and two sticks are bad ... im running these in dual channel ... and one of every pair is damaged -.- recently i noticed, reboots without any explanations ... first i thought it was the graphic card but after i did some tests i found out that something is wrong with the Ram .... Im running this system for over 2 years and i never had a problem but now my rams are bad :( i think im gonna send back all of them to my reseller ... Wired Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 Test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+ v1.70 using these settings: CAS Latency (tCL): 2 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 3 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6 Memory Voltage: 2.7-2.8 Volts (Warrantied up to, but not over, 2.90 volts) All other settings to defaults. hazatone Posted October 22, 2007 Author Share Posted October 22, 2007 so ... now i tested them one after the other ... i found out that just one pair is damaged ... i just was able to test the bars in pairs so i cant say which one is damaged .. the first pair passed the test twice without any errors ... but the second pair .... i aborted the test after 20% because i already had over 2 mio error :eek: so i found out that just one of the pairs is damaged ... thx for your advice :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
