fz5j2r
I have looked on NewEgg and found two types of ram for my new EVGA 680i SLI 122CKNF68-AR motherboard. They are Twin2x4096 6400 C5DHX and Twin2x4096 6400 C5G. Are they compatible with the motherboard I purchased? The Corsair website compatibility checker lists the 6400 C5G as being compatible. It does not list the 6400 C5DHX. It has not been updated since June 2007. What is the difference between these two types? I am a novice retiree and not a gamer. The memory will be used for general work and some video editing. I have Vista 64 bit. In a few years I will add another 4Gb. Thank you in advance for your help! The website lists 30 sticks, however there is only one 4Gb Kit - TWIN2X4096-6400C5 G. It also does not list Twin2x4096 6400 C5DHX. That is why I made the post in the first place! You guys are the experts. I am just an old retired novice.
