xp310
Hello Everyone, I have tried my best to find out if this has already been answered, but I didn't have any luck. When I first got my 4gig Voyager, it worked great in ANY usb port I plugged it into. But now, neither USB port on my Dell monitor even sees it. Before this was never a problem, it always worked perfectly. This problem MIGHT have started after I reformatted it - but I'm not sure if that's what triggered this issue. I have tested the USB ports and they work perfectly fine with any device I plug into them. Also, the voyager works in ANY USB port I plug it into, as long as it's not the ones on my Dell monitor. What is causing this problem? It's almost useless to me now, because it's not convienetnt for me to just plug it in, I have to get on the ground, and plug it directly into the computer. :( Incase you need to know, I am using Vista. And I don't "think" this problem started when I made the switch over to Vista. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jay

Wired
disconnect and reconnect the usb cable going from the monitor to the computer. fixes it for me and my usb headset. if that doesn't work, un/reinstall USB in device manager (or whatever the vista equivalent is)

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 18, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 18, 2007 I would agree remove the device listed in device manager and restart the system and then re-connect the USB drive, but if it works in another port its probably not the Flash Voyager.
