tfread
I have a set of ValueSelect memory--I purchased 3 sets, I have RMA'd 2 already, when I have both modules installed the PC will not boot. If I replace the memory with a set that I have already received back from you, it boots fine.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 16, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 16, 2007 Do the modules work when tested individually?
tfread
Yes, but the machines I use them in are quite slow then.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 19, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 19, 2007 If the modules are functioning properly when tested individually, then there may not be an issue with the modules. Can you tell me the actual part number of the modules you have, as well as the make and model of the system/motherboard you are using?

tfread
VS256MB533D2--this is a kit of 2. The motherboard I'm using is INTEL 945G BOXD945GTPL. I have 3 of these systems assembled and, like I said in my previous post, I have already RMA'd the other 2 kits. If there isn't a problem with the individual RAM chips, then why does it work with memory that I have already RMA'd a couple months ago?
