Arwei
Well my TWINX2048-3200C2 are running really hot. You cant touch them without "hurting" yourself. They are so hot that you cant hold more like a second. Should they be running this hot? I cant even go for the recommended timings at 2-3-3-6 2.6v. Timings are running at 2.5-3-3-6 at the moment. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 16, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 16, 2007 Are the other components in the system excessively hot as well? Video card, PSU, etc?
Arwei
Are the other components in the system excessively hot as well? Video card, PSU, etc? No not really. CPU idle at 30C, HDD 35C, GPU 40C and the PSU is not even close to the TWINX temperature.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 16, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 16, 2007 Some modules will run hotter than others, if the modules are passing http://www.memtest.org without any errors then you should be fine!
