Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 10, 2007 The minimum suggested voltage for these modules would be 2.1 Volts. Please set this in the BIOS and see if you are still having the same issues.
dijuremo
The voltage is already set to 2.1Volts. I had 4 sticks total in the machine. I have tested each stick individually. The other 3 are fine but the defective one spits lots of errors with memtest right after memtest is loaded.

dijuremo
Hi, I actually have found that another module from another set is bad as well. I would like your authorization to send two sets of 2x1GB modules, so 4 modules total. The failure of this module was not evident untill the 2nd or 3rd pass of memtest. I was testing modules in pairs and found problems after the first pass. I then tested the module on its own and it would not show errors on the first pass, but then it would displayed them on the 2nd or 3rd passes. It may be that once the module gets warm it starts to produce the errors. Please let me know so that I can send all of them. That way you can test them all and make sure they are fine or replace them all for me since it looks like they are defective.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 12, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 12, 2007 Yes, lets just get the whole set replaced. You will want to list the part as TWIN2X2048-6400C4 and quantity of 2 (2 twin pairs).
