Baryl
Hello, I purchased two 1GB sticks "Value Select DDR2 667MHz PC2-5300" for my MacBook three weeks ago. They worked for these weeks and then my MacBook stopped booting (start jingle, 3 beeps, white screen). I took out both and replaced them with the original sticks from Apple and the machine booted right up. I then proceeded to test each stick individually and found that when one specific stick was in the MacBook it would no longer boot. I would like to exchange this stick, thanks a lot for telling me know what I need to do. Seb (France)

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 10, 2007 If they were purchased as a kit, we would want to get them both replaced.
Baryl
This is not a kit, I bought them at the same time, but each one was sold separately and was individually packed
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 10, 2007 You can choose whether you would like to have one or both replaced, however I would recommend getting them both replaced so that we can get you a matched pair in return. Baryl
I bought the memory on a French internet store, whose hotline is very expensive, therefore I'll get information tomorrow near the post office because the shipping cost will be perhaps lower than the price of the hotline ! (sorry for my frenglish...)
